We were blessed with a great trip to Tampa Florida in the last week for spring break! What a great time! We saw Ruth's parents and family. We went fishing. We played at the beach. We even got to go to Busch Gardens and enjoy the rides and the animals. We traveled there in typical Diepersloot fashion...Ruth and Jonny went on free miles out of one city and Jessika and I went on free miles out of another city....so now I am on my way back and I got stuck in Minneapolis. So Jess and I are having an added little adventure.

Speaking of adventure I wanted to let you all know our plans for next year! We are officially staying here in Montana for another two years. We have been accepted as staff for the School of Biblical Studies here at YWAM (Youth With A Mission). We also will for sure be living on the base! This is very exciting news for us because we will have a house on the base which will be much cheaper than living in a rental house like we are now. So God has answered a few prayers in that department!

So you might ask "what are you actually doing there?". The main goal of our class that we will be teaching next year is to prepare missionaries with a solid Biblical foundation. We will be on staff, so that means I will be teaching a few books of the Bible along with leading small groups, grading, administrative stuff etc... As you know from my experience this year, SBS is an intense 9 month course that leads you through the bible with a big picture perspective. Basically we will be helping the students next year as they journey through God's Word. Ruth will be busy in the class as well for the first half of the year and then she will have her hands full taking care of our newest addition (baby to arrive early december!). I'm hoping we can name the baby a good Old Testament name like "Oholibama"! (that's a joke by the way).

What does SBS prepare people for? well, this year there are many students who are continuing on by becoming missionaries in Africa to teach the bible to pastors there. Others are going to Cambodia, Thailand...even Australia. Some continue on with more education by transfering to University. Some (like us) continue on in YWAM and help prepare more missionaries to share God's love with the world.

So this is the journey God has us on right now! We are excited and loving it. We would like to someday do more missions work overseas as well.

We would ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with us in both prayer and finances. We are taking a big leap of faith in our finances as our positions with YWAM are unpaid. YWAM's policy is that all staff raise their own support as missionaries. We are praying that God would raise up some to pray for us and support us monthly. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
