Well, we made it hear to Lakeside Montana! We had a great summer seeing lots of friends and family on the west coast. I have quite a few pictures below of some of the great times we had.

Here is the family at Bass Lake, CA where we had a great time waterskiing with some great friends.


We have now been in Lakeside for two weeks. We are living in the dorm rooms which is working out pretty good so far. We have two rooms with a bathroom down the hall that we share with other students. We are scheduled to be in our house on Oct 1, so pray that happens on schedule!

This last Saturday Jessika and I (Dave) got to go fishing on the lake for the first time. She loved it! (and I did too of course). We caught 20 whitefish and 2 lake trout. Here is Jessika holding her prize trout. She also really enjoyed disecting the fish when we did the cleaning. We got to go with some friends of ours from our church here in Lakeside.

We are enjoying the training we've had in these last two weeks. We are learning a lot about speaking to a specific audience, how to prepare a lecture, how to relate to students, how to be a good leader...all kinds of really valuable training. It's been great.

Here is my immediate family that we got to hang out with briefly in San Diego this summer. It's not often we get the whole clan together for a picture, so this is priceless.

I wanted to give a quick financial update and let you all know that we are quite close to our goal. We are still a few hundred dollars short per month, but we are close and we want to REALLY thank all of you that have chosen to support us with both finances and prayers. We want you all to know that we do pray for you and we would love for you to send prayer requests so we can pray more effectively!
